RESPONSABILITIES

UI Design for the entire mobile experience
focusing on a clean, engaging visual identity and also contributing to expand the brand guidelines.

STARTUP POC

As part of a startup pitch, I was brought in to design the interface and visual identity for a proof-of-concept mobile app. Due to confidentiality agreements, the client’s identity is undisclosed.

Goal

Demystify data: make household electricity use easy to understand at a glance, with smart visual cues and intuitive structure.

Motivate action: encourage users to reduce energy use without guilt — using positive nudges, goals, and rewards.

Build trust: balance playfulness with credibility, ensuring the interface feels reliable while staying visually engaging.

Key Screens & Features

Screen-1

1. Personalized Dashboard
The home screen greets users by name and immediately shows savings opportunities. A callout section uses a gradient to spotlight tips that lower electricity usage and reduce CO2 emissions.

Screen-2

2. Detailed Consumption Insights
Users can toggle between daily, hourly, and monthly views of their energy usage. Graphs visualize “green” vs. “black” energy usage over time, making complex data intuitive and trackable.

Screen-3

3. Goal-Setting with Feedback Loops
The app suggests achievable goals like reducing energy use by 2% and reinforces progress with visual badges, motivational messages, and thumbs-up icons. The tone stays encouraging without being preachy.

Screen-4

4. Incentives & Rewards
Gamifying savings was key. If users hit their energy-saving targets, they could unlock small rewards like planting a tree, streaming service access, or TV bill credits. Behavioral economics, meet UI.

Outcome

The concept helped secure early-stage investor interest and was praised for its clarity and visual charm. The combination of real-time tracking, actionable advice, and positive reinforcement created a UX that was both functional and motivating.
